It's gross here...it's raining and slightly chilly. Fay is still lingering around the state of Florida. To deal with the ugliness of the day, this afternoon I have a cup of hot cocoa and I'm curled up with my computer and my dog laying on my bed. As I sit here on my bed returning emails and arranging meetings for next week in California I realize I'm in a really good place.
It's funny what is comforting to me. I like feeling in my safe home and I feel cozy just sitting inside hearing the rain, watching the wind, and having Summitt at my feet. The only thing that would make this better would be if the rain were snow, I was sitting in front of a fireplace, and I had my whole family with me.
Oh to live where it's cold.....all in due time I'm hoping....but for now I love my life.

did i mention that i love watching the snow fall? however, i curl up with a hot-toddy, camden, a fire place roaring and a book. oh those are the days :)
