Fearing Fay

As everyone now knows there are multiple tropical storm, hurricane, and tornado warnings that are issue to most of the state of Florida. Today is the day we are supposed to get the worst of it. Yes, we are having strong winds along with slight drizzle of rain but that's it for us right now.

I admit, I'm slightly worried because of previous years of living in Florida and the hurricanes that have it multiple times. I am ready though. We have canned goods, water, batteries, flashlights, and candles. I am beginning to feel like my mom a bit, but it's all good.

Bill's way of dealing with the hurricane is to have a "nap party." He has been sleeping on and off for the last couple of hours. He has asked me a few times in the last hour, "where is all this rain we are going to get?" I tell him to be patient we are slated to get it. It's funny how different we are when it comes to dealing with things. I am more of a prepared person, he is more of a fly by the seat of your pants kind of guy. Oh well, it works for us.

So I will continue working from home and Bill will continue sleeping. Our thoughts and prayers are for everyone in the state of Florida as we deal with Fay....
