It's always fun to forge friendships and then part ways, and catch up with friends of the past to see what they have been doing. Well, you always want them to be successful and happy in whatever they have chosen to do. When I lived in West Palm Beach I befriended the golf writer Tim Rosaforte. We lived in the same area, we played tennis, and I became friendly with his family. He's a great guy, good personality, very generous, and a great family man.
Whenever I turn on the TV to watch a golf event, more times than not I see him commentating. Personally, I think that's pretty impressive. He's good at what he does as well. I decided to write to him and try and catch up. I wrote him a letter tell him how impressed I am with him and wanted to know how his family is and such. I'm not sure he will write back to me or get in touch with me but at least he knows that I was thinking of him and I am proud of him.
