It always seems to me that Christmas is here and gone before you know it. Lots of preparation for the actual "Christmas Celebration" and then it's over before you know it. I actually like that about it though. It's like you stress out about getting all the stuff done before Christmas is here, then it's kind of relief when it's all over.
We had a nice Christmas though, we spent Christmas Eve with Bill's family and Christmas day with mine. It's always a nice time. Now, I look forward to a week of sking in Colorado. Bill and I are heading out to Keystone, CO for a much needed vacation. We will spend time with my sister in Denver, ski some mountains, and hopefully take some day trips.
As usual, I received lots of great gifts this year. However, one of my favorites was a bracelet given to me by my sister. Me, my mom, and my sister all have the same bracelet, it bonds us together. We all wear it and think of one another. I'm the most emotional of all of us, so if I'm missing my sister badly, I just look at it and think of her, it's corny I know, but it gets me through missing her.
Oh well, lots of stuff to get done today so I better head off...
